Police are looking for three suspects who broke into a North Merrick home with a woman inside, and then fled when police arrived.
They say the woman heard banging on her doors and windows at her home on James Street around 10:30 a.m. Friday.
Minutes later, she heard voices inside her house. She called 911.
When officers arrived, News 12 is told that three men ran out the home's back door.
Nothing was stolen, but the suspects remain at large.
Police say an investigation revealed that the suspects had forced the front door open.
