PATCHOGUE -

Police say drugs and two stolen handguns were among the items seized from a Patchogue home Wednesday morning.

A search warrant was executed around 5:30 a.m. at a house on Wilmarth Avenue.

Police say they seized four handguns, two of which were reported stolen, four assault rifles, six shotguns, two rifles, a switchblade and five sets of brass knuckles. They also seized an assortment of drugs that included oxycodone, Xanax, morphine and marijuana, as well as cash and boxes of ammunition.

Police say 30-year-old Patrick Musumeci, who lives in the home, was arrested and faces a slew of charges, the most serious of which being criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police say half of the seized weapons are illegal.

Musumeci's parents and sister were home at the time of the raid. Police say they're looking into whether he was a drug dealer and why there were so many weapons in the house.

Musumeci is set to be arraigned Thursday morning in Central Islip. News 12 is told that he is a maintenance worker in the Commack School District.
