A Queens man has been charged in connection with a burglary attempt and attack in which he allegedly bit the victim, hit him with a car and then dragged him.
The incident happened just after 3 p.m. Thursday at Shimon Mourtil's home on Arbor Street in Great Neck.
Police say Mourtil found Farbod Hoorizadeh trying to break into his home. There was a struggle when police say Mourtil confronted him.
According to court documents, Hoorizadeh bit the victim on his left arm.
Police say Hoorizadeh put his car, which was in the driveway, in reverse and hit the victim, dragging him and injuring his knee.
Hoorizadeh was arrested at the scene. Authorities say he tried to burglarize the same home on Monday.
Hoorizadeh was held on $30,000 bail. He's due back in court Tuesday.
