Another juror was replaced Monday morning in the retrial of former Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano and his wife Linda.
Juror No. 1 was swapped out for an alternate, but it was unclear why she left. Two jurors have now been replaced in the retrial so far.
Once testimony started, more than an hour behind schedule, witnesses discussed the $238,000 emergency, no-bid contract to serve food to county workers during Superstorm Sandy.
Federal prosecutors claim that was one of the contracts the former Nassau executive steered to restaurateur Harendra Singh in exchange for perks.
A judge declared a mistrial in the political corruption case against the Manganos last year.
