A Center Moriches man is facing charges in a string of residential burglaries, Suffolk police say.
Aubrey Hill, 51, is accused of breaking into homes and possessing stolen property. The break-ins occurred in January and December.
Police say Hill broke into a home on Jan. 26 located on Wading River Road in Center Moriches, where he allegedly stole a backpack and a tablet. He was arrested outside of his own home following the break-in.
Police say an investigation revealed that Hill burglarized homes on Neville Street and Clinton Street in Center Moriches this month, and he also allegedly pawned items that were stolen from homes on Chichester Avenue in Center Moriches and Railroad Avenue in Manorville.
Hill is charged with three counts of second-degree burglary, plus charges of criminal possession of stolen property.
