Hackettstown Police urge drivers to stay off roads amid winter storm

Warren County is getting ready for this weekend's storm.
Hackettstown has declared a snow emergency and it remains in effect until 4 p.m. on Sunday.
Residents are being asked to stay off the roads tonight.
"With this ice, it’s going to cause a lot of travel headaches for people, so were encouraging people to stay home this weekend when the storm is supposed to hit,” said Darren Tynan from Hackettstown Police. “Let our road crews get out there to salt and plow the roadways."
DPW workers will be out on the roads with salt trucks and plows throughout the weekend.
