PSEG Long Island used drones to conduct an aerial inspection of transmission lines and towers in Glen Head Monday morning.
Officials say the data collected allows them to see potential problems.
The utility company has been working with ULC Robotics since 2016 as part of a pilot program.
PSEG Long Island says the drones are also being used to assist their crews responding to emergencies after storms.
