People in Union Beach raised money on Saturday for a good cause in the brutal cold.
The borough's recreation department hosted the first annual polar bear plunge "Get Freezin' for a Reason."
The event raised money to help people with autism.
"I think it's a great day,” said Sue Costello from Union Beach Recreation. “The sun's out, it's beautiful, we're alive, we're healthy”
