NYC teacher from LI fired over slavery lesson to sue for $1 billion

A city teacher from Farmingville is planning to sue New York City for $1 billion, claiming she is a victim of “reverse racism.”
Bronx Middle school teacher Patricia Cummings was suspended after teaching students a lesson about slavery.
Cummings is accused of ordering black students to lie on the floor while she put her knee on their backs, which she says never happened.
Cummings was exonerated, but she remains suspended.
Cummings is suing the Board of Education.
