Two suspected sex traffickers accused of trying to force a 12-year-old and another teen into prostitution were arraigned on a grand jury indictment Thursday.
Terron Newsome and Fredjy Exavier pleaded not guilty to 15 charges including kidnapping and sex trafficking.
The Central Islip men were arrested at the Rodway Inn in Ronkonkoma last month.
Police arrived when the 12-year old called her former foster mom. She said she and a 17-year-old girl were being held against their will.
Police say Newsome tried to turn the 12-year-old girl into a prostitute.
They also say that Newsome, a suspected Crips member, raped the 17-year-old and had her working as a prostitute since she was 13.
