A holiday crackdown on drunk drivers is underway, and police say they've already made some arrests.
A sobriety checkpoint was set up at Waverly Plaza in Patchogue overnight.
News 12 is told that Suffolk police and New York state troopers made five DWI arrests, and one vehicle was seized.
Troopers and county police are taking part in a national "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" campaign that runs through New Year's Day.
