Students hope to capture a king at Chess Challenge

Hundreds of Bronx students rolled up their sleeves Tuesday for some healthy competition in Concourse Village.
Students from grades 3-8 competed in the borough president's annual Chess Challenge.
The students say the challenge is more than just a chess match. They say it helps them sharpen their skills and learn how to participate socially with each other.
The winners of the friendly competition got to walk away with a shiny trophy.
