Fifth-graders at P.S. 297 Abraham Stockton are recording their voices for a time capsule project called "Year in Sound."
It will help the students leave their legacy for future classes.
Rather than a traditional time capsule, the teacher wanted to create sound time capsules to represent today's digital focus.
The project started in December and wraps up around the end of the school year. The audio will then posted online.
