Police: Mail carrier stabbed in the face after altercation

A 50-year-old mail carrier is recovering after he was stabbed multiple times in the face while delivering mail.
West Orange police say that the postal worker and 41-year-old Medgyne Anglade got into a verbal confrontation on Dec. 10 while the worker was delivering mail. Anglade then attacked the worker and stabbed him in the face, according to officials.
Police say that the attack happened on Hillside Avenue.
The mail carrier was cut several times. He was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was treated and released.
Anglade was charged with aggravated assault and weapons possession.
