A 48-year-old man was killed in an intense house fire overnight in Medford.
It took fire crews about two hours to get the flames under control at the home on Oregon Avenue.
Two firefighters were injured during the incident – one fell off a ladder and another was struck by falling debris.
Detective Lt. Kevin Breyer, of the Suffolk County Police Department, said the fire does not appear to be suspicious at this time.
“We don’t have that sense right now,” said Breyer.
Two family members identified the deceased as homeowner Neil Storan.
