Police have arrested a driver following a deadly crash in Glen Cove last week.

Police say Carol Cashman, 70, of Locust Valley, is charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident.

Cashman was arrested following an investigation into last Wednesday's crash on Brewster Street in Glen Cove.

Police say Cashman hit-and-killed a 72-year-old man who was crossing the road.

According to police, she stayed at the scene for a short time after the crash and then took off when police arrived.
