A judge will not drop the criminal charges against a Gloucester Township police officer accused of hitting a teen while she was handcuffed.
According to Camden County prosecutors, the 13-year-old complied with police instructions and allowed Officer John Flinn, 27, to handcuff her, but prosecutors say he "struck her twice on the side of the face, causing her to cry out in pain."
Flinn’s lawyer says the child endangerment and official misconduct charges should be dismissed.
Flinn, who has been on the force since 2015, has been suspended since March.
