More than 300 motorcyclists gathered at Miller's Ale House in Deer Park to raise money and donate toys to kids who are less fortunate during the holidays.

They may look rough and tough on the outside, but the Tier Rats Motorcycle Group has a lot of heart.

With the help of a police escort, the group rode to Miller's Ale House in Levittown, where all the toys were delivered and given to the U.S. Marine Corp Toys for Tots program.

Over the past seven years, the group has collected about 50,000 toys, and they will stop at nothing to make sure each child has a toy to unwrap this holiday season.

“We go to 267 events collecting toys with firemen and police, and we put a smile on a child’s face,” says Chuck Kilbride, a retired major in the US Marine Corp. “A new unwrapped toy is a symbol of hope and that's what it's all about.”
