A burst of wet, heavy snow from a November storm on Thursday led to plenty of problems on Long Island roads.
Commutes that normally take 10 or 15 minutes, took more than an hour and 30 or 40-minute commutes took two hours.

Officials say there were some crashes on slippery roads this morning, but nothing compared to Thursday night.
According to police, there were 450 accidents reported across Nassau and Suffolk counties during the storm.
The wintry mix started falling fast around mid-afternoon as forecast, and it snarled traffic for the way home.
Overpasses were extremely slick, as well as exit and entrance ramps.
