Police: Minivan carrying passengers with special needs crashed

FARMINGVILLE -

Police say several people are injured after a van carrying passengers with special needs crashed in Farmingville Friday night.

The minivan was struck by an SUV on Portion Road and Leeds Boulevard just after 7:30 p.m.

Both drivers and four special needs adults were taken to the hospital.

News 12 Long Island was told all of the injuries are minor.
