A jury has convicted a Manhattan man for the murder of a Hofstra graduate.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance Jr. argued that James Rackover and two others repeatedly stabbed 26-year-old Joseph Comunale, then buried the body in a shallow grave in New Jersey.

Prosecutors say it happened in Rackover's Manhattan apartment two years ago.

According to the DA, a New York Supreme Court jury found Rackover guilty on all charges, including murder in the second degree, hindering prosecution in the first degree and concealment of a human corpse.

Rackover is scheduled to be sentenced next month. Two other men have not yet gone to trial.
