Some heroes visited a Westbury elementary school Wednesday to give some last-minute trick-or-treating safety tips.
Nassau police officers showed up to Drexel Avenue School in costume as Captain America, Black Panther, Spiderman and other comic book heroes.
Organizers say the goal of the event is to form a bond between children and the police officers that patrol their communities.
The officers taught the children how to be safe while still having fun trick-or-treating.
