More than a thousand people came together on Long Island to remember the Pittsburgh victims.
There was an overflow crowd at the Mid Island Y-JCC Tuesday night in Plainview.
They called their vigil “A Time to Mourn, A Time to Hope" and spiritual leaders of all faiths, elected officials and neighbors came together.
They prayed for healing after the Tree of Life massacre.
"We will not be broken, we will not be brought down, and we will not succumb to hate. And everybody needs to know that. It’s not going to take us down. Not this community," says Ronne Rabinowitz.
Organizers from the Interfaith Clergy Council say they will not stand idle in the face of anti-Semitism.
