Police bust alleged drug operation at Port Jefferson Station barbershop

Police say drugs were being sold out of a barbershop in Port Jefferson Station.
Mancave Barber Shop employees Juan Lopez Enriquez and Carlos Encarnacion and visitor Santiago Tavares are accused of selling cocaine and fentanyl out of the establishment.
Suffolk District Attorney Tim Sini says handguns, ammunition and other drug packing materials were found at other locations.
Lopez and Enriquez face up to 20 years in prison, while Tavares faces up to 10.
"They were telling customers they were selling heroin when in fact they were selling pure fentanyl," says Sini. "This is an extremely common and dangerous tactic used by dealers to make a higher profit at the expense of others’ lives."
