NYPD: Suspect used fake credit cards to buy $13,000 worth of jewelry

Police are searching for a man they say used fake credit cards to buy jewelry in Williamsburg.
The man allegedly used the cards to buy about $13,000 worth of jewelry from a jewelry vending machine inside the William Vale Hotel on Sept. 20.
He was last seen wearing a black Nike T-shirt and gray pants.
News 12 reached out to the company who's jewelry was stolen and have not yet heard back.
