A special effects professional explains to News 12 how to create gory scars, just in time for Halloween.

Special effects artist David Rodriguez says a fake scar can be created with items found in the Dollar store, including nose wax, foundation and red makeup.

"The rule is that anything goes,” he says. “It's about your imagination.”
