HUNTINGTON -

A Huntington store was robbed at gunpoint Thursday and police are hoping surveillance pictures will help them catch the suspect.

The incident happened at the Metro PCS store on New York Avenue in Huntington around 7:15 p.m.

Police say a man in a hooded sweatshirt entered the store and held a gun to an employee.

Police say the suspect stole cash, six cellphones from the store and an employee's iPhone then took off.

Anyone with more information is asked to call Suffolk Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
