STAMFORD, C.T. -

An autopsy is being performed on a baby boy found last week at a garbage and recycling processing facility in Stamford, Connecticut.

Police say workers at the City Carting & Recycling plant found the newborn Tuesday morning.

The waste where the boy was found originated either in Oyster Bay, Westchester, Connecticut or Massachusetts.

It still not immediately clear where the boy came from.
