Chef’s Quick Tip: Green Immunity Broth

Christine Dunst, owner of Embody Wellness Company, shows how to make a vegan soup that will  help the heal and repair the body.
Makes about 2.5 cups
*Use organic when possible
2.5 cups of hot water ( or use bone broth)
1 tablespoon of spirulina
2 tablespoons miso
2 tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil
½ teaspoon of ginger or ½ inch of fresh grated ginger
2 garlic cloves
Juice of 2 lemons
Pinch of cayenne or turmeric (or both!)
Pinch of nori as garnish (optional)
For a heartier broth add: ½ cup of kale or spinach
Blend all ingredients in blender/Vitamix. Add the spirulina last for a quick blend. Serve hot. To re-heat, use your tea kettle and add additional hot water to broth or re-heat on low/simmer on stove top.
