An eyesore on the South Shore was knocked down today.

The home on Clock Boulevard in Massapequa was demolished by the Town of Oyster Bay.

Residents say the home had been abandoned for more than a decade.

Town officials say the owners of the home refused to maintain the home despite numerous requests so a court order was given to knock it down.
