Coleytown Middle School may be closed for rest of year

The superintended of Westport Public Schools says one of the town's middle schools may be closed for the rest of the school year.
Superintendent Colleen Palmer met with the Board of Education's Facilities Committee to look at preliminary results of a mold study being done at Coleytown Middle School.
Palmer says the early indications are the building is prone to water seeping in from outside, rendering many temporary solutions fruitless.
The full Board of Education will meet Monday.
Officials hope to have a final recommendation in place by Thanksgiving.
