Bosom Buddy Challenge aims to help breast cancer patients

A new effort this Breast Cancer Awareness month is aimed at helping women get back on their feet while they undergo treatment.
The Bosom Buddy Challenge is a monthlong program at Body Mantra in Smithtown. The program given by Dr. Christine Grimalde is designed to strengthen the body, mind and spirit of women who have breast cancer.
"We do all holistic practices to support your journey, whether you go all holistic or western medicine, through yoga, meditation and breath work," says Grimalde.
Tricia Keefer, who has a 4-year-old, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She says the Bosom Buddy program has given her new hope.
"To lean on each other and power each other through is the most important thing because no one should stand alone," says Keefer.
