Central Islip man accused of neglecting 2 pit bulls

Police say a Central Islip man is accused of neglecting his dogs.

According to investigators, Jacques Henri left his two pit bulls in the backyard without shelter or water.

One of the dogs was tied to a fence with open sores on his ears. The other was severely malnourished.

The 72-year-old is now facing animal cruelty charges.
