Thousands of people flocked to Asbury Park for the first ever Sea.Hear.Now Festival.
Several local bands kicked off the waterfront festival, which has three stages for musicians to perform on. Two of the stages were located on the beach and the other was at Bradley Park across from the Paramount Theatre.
About 30 bands are expected to play this weekend, including top acts like Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Incubus and Blondie.
In addition to the music, there will also be a pop-up art gallery with creations by some of the musicians who are performing.
Tickets are still available for the festival.
Officials are also warning neighbors to prepare for transit delays and street closures.
