Police: Woman arrested after crash involving pedestrian

LONG BEACH -

Police say an East Meadow woman was arrested after a crash that injured a pedestrian overnight in Long Beach.

Detectives say a man was trying to cross East Park Avenue near Long Beach Boulevard, just before 1 a.m. Sunday, when he was hit.

The driver, 32-year-old Dana Griffin, was charged with driving while ability impaired.
