Sony goes retro with upcoming release of PlayStation Classic
Sony is taking a cue from Nintendo’s wildly successful retro mini consoles with the upcoming release of the PlayStation Classic.
According to the PlayStation blog, the mini version of the original gaming powerhouse will release on Dec. 3 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the seminal console.
The blog post says the mini console will come pre-loaded with 20 classic games, although it did not provide a full list just yet.  Lempel did list the following games that will be available on the device:
Final Fantasy VII
Jumping Flash
Ridge Racer Type 4
Tekken 3
Wild Arms
There is a fairly large library of PSOne games already available in the PlayStation Store, but there’s no denying the appeal of getting these games in a neat miniature retro box.
List price for the PlayStation Classic is $99. One caveat: They did say the AC adapter will be sold separately.
What games do you want to see included with the PlayStation Classic? Let us know in the Facebook comments below.
