Woman charged in connection to murder of Hempstead man

A Bellport woman was ordered held without bail Wednesday in connection to a kidnapping and murder.
Sunetta Dennis was arraigned on a second-degree murder charge in connection with the death of 22-year-old Alan Moore, of Hempstead.
Moore was found strangled in an abandoned Wyandanch home in 2017.
Prosecutors say Moore was allegedly strangled by Dennis' son, Joshua Nickens.
The family accused Moore of stealing a PlayStation console from their home, where he used to live, leading to his kidnapping and murder.
Officials say the crime does not appear to be gang related.
