Campaign manager of Oz Griebel resigns amid larceny charge

The campaign manager for independent gubernatorial candidate Oz Griebel resigned after being arrested Tuesday for allegedly taking more than $500,000 from his day job.
Detectives say Kyle Lyddy rang up fraudulent expenses while he was working at Match Marketing Group.
Those charges include 124 nights in a hotel, a cruise and more.
Lieutenant governor candidate Monte Frank tweeted he was “devastated” and shocked.
Spokesperson Chris Cooper will now run the campaign
Lyddy previously ran for state representative in the Newtown area and served as chairman of a commission in charge of the permanent memorial for the victims of the Sandy Hook school shooting.
