Riverhead man charged in 10 burglaries while wearing GPS ankle bracelet

A man is accused of breaking into at least 10 Riverhead homes.
Police say they caught Taiheem McKay, of Riverhead, by tracking his GPS ankle monitor.
McKay was arraigned yesterday on 10 counts of burglary.
McKay is accused of breaking into homes from July of last year to late February stealing jewelry and designer accessories.
He was already on probation at the time, required to wear a GPS ankle monitor.
Police say one home on East Avenue was hit four times.
