A Massapequa teen allegedly dressed as a clown and chased children at John Burns Park.
Police say Christopher Desousa, 17, was wielding a stun gun while in his clown get-up and terrified several children on Monday.
Police say they found Desousa Tuesday night after someone called 911 about a suspicious person sitting in a car on Peconic Drive. News 12 was told that Desousa was sitting in the driver's seat with the clown costume and mask in the seat next to him.
After an investigation, police say they linked the teen to the incident in the park.
Desousa was charged with five counts of criminal possession of a weapon after they say four stun guns and a blackjack baton were found in his car.
News 12 went to Desousa’s home Wednesday but nobody answered the door.
Police believe Desousa may have more victims. They're asking those people to call the Seventh Squad at 516-573-6753.
