Billboard calling Trump 'idiot' removed from Union County town

A billboard referring to President Donald Trump as "Our Leader The Idiot" has been removed after causing controversy in a Union County town.
A spokeswoman for Union Township said Friday that the billboard has been removed by the company that owns the space.
New York-based activist Neil Harrison told News 12 New Jersey that he paid for the billboard to promote an upcoming documentary film.
OutFront Media, the company that owns the billboard, has not spoken publically about the billboard.
Many comments about the billboard made on News 12 New Jersey’s Facebook page called on citizens to contact OutFront Media to express their anger over the display.
Township spokeswoman Natalie Pineiro said this week that since the billboard is privately owned, the township had no role in the billboard's removal.
Pineiro said dozens of voicemails and Facebook comments received by the town were overwhelmingly negative about the billboard.
