Back to School: Kinnebar

A New Jersey mother has created a device to help children focus when completing school work.
Jodi Whalen says she came up with the idea for the 'Kinnebar' after watching her son fidget as he tried to complete his homework.
The 'Kinnebar' works as a foot swing which is placed under a child's desk or work area.
Whalen says it has helped her son who is a kinesthetic learner and needs movement and physical stimulation when performing tasks.
She says the ‘Kinnebar’ is lightweight, doesn't make noise and comes with both a swinging function and a bouncing function.
Whalen says the product is useful for children who have autism or Asperger syndrome.
