A $55 million upgrade is underway to upgrade some of Long Island’s roadways.
It includes new bike lanes, storm drains and upgraded traffic signals to Route 112 between Granny Road and the South Service Road in Suffolk.
In Nassau, the state has finished resurfacing the Wantagh State Parkway and a new guardrail has also been installed.
The project is expected to be completed by the summer of 2021.
