Officials say two people are dead and another is injured after a crash in Holbrook.
The incident happened on Woodside Avenue just east of Patchogue-Holbrook Road around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
Police say 45-year-old Jose Perez lost control of his SUV and crashed into the woods.
Perez and Luis Antonio Banegas, a 39-year-old passenger, were killed in the crash.
Another man in the vehicle was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
