A Bridgeport naval veteran organization hosted an annual event to raise money for a great cause.

The Wienerfest is put on by Port 5, and features a day of family fun with plenty of hot dogs.

The event raises money for Freedom Guide Dogs -- which provides dogs for the blind -- and The Valley Goes Pink, which aims to spread breast cancer awareness.

Orangizers say they expect the event to grow every year.
