Video shows postal worker roughly handling packages

Posted: Updated:
HAMPTON BAYS -

Video shows a Hampton Bays postal worker tossing and kicking packages — and other workers walking by without doing anything about it.

Eastport resident James Forney says he recorded the video last month at the Hampton Bays Post Office.

"I'm not trying to get anybody in trouble," he says. "It just caught me off guard that this was happening, and no one was reacting to it."

The US Postal Service says it is looking into the incident.

It's unclear what was inside the packages or where they were headed.
