Teen shot by police in Queens charged with attempted murder

A 15-year-old boy who was shot by police has now been charged.
Police tell News 12 the teenager was firing a gun at a crowd of people in Far Rockaway on Friday at around 11 p.m.
News 12 is told two officers demanded he drop the weapon, which was recovered at the scene. It's still not clear whether he refused.
The two police officers struck the teen multiple times. He was taken to Long Island Jewish Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
The teenager has now been charged with attempted murder, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal use of a firearm.
