Weather: Flash flood watch in effect through Sunday morning

A Flash flood watch is in effect for Nassau and Suffolk counties through Sunday morning.

Flash flooding is not imminent or guaranteed unless a warning is issued.

Sunday is expected to see a warm and muggy start. Conditions will be mostly cloudy, but News 12 meteorologists say the day will not likely be a washout.

Scattered thunderstorms are possible, with highs in the low-80s.

Wet weather will continue until Wednesday of next week.
