A big honor for the Jericho School District.

The district took first place in the country in the Niche 2019 Best School Districts ranking.

Niche looks at everything from academics to culture, diversity to safety and even variety of extracurricular activities.

Eight other districts on the Island are among the top 100 public schools. They include Great Neck, Syosset, Roslyn, Herrick, East Williston, Manhasset, Bellmore-Merrick, and Harborfields.
