The zoo will now be coming to children in hospital beds around the world, including Cohen Children’s Medical Center and Ronald McDonald House of Long Island.

The San Diego Zoo Kids is a closed-circuit television channel that allows young patients to view animal-oriented programming.

The channel will also feature animal footage from more than a dozen accredited zoos and aquariums across North America.
